I wasnt expecting anything amazing, but its one of the few breakfast places open at 8 AM. They kind of added to the character of the place. Still, highly recommend and the service was excellent! Our fruit was fresh and the banana bread was great. The food has a Cuban slant which was fun for us as we live on the opposite end of the country! And the key lime pie, we were told best anywhere. We eat mostly vegetarian and they had several options that were delicious. We will be making this place our must stop for breakfast in Key West. The gift shop has some cool little items great for gift giving. The coffee is fresh and beautiful brewed. The banana bread is worth taking some home with you. Which this can be a problem because everything on the menu is delicious. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful with helping you with your orders. Sunday brunch is also excellent but be relaxed and prepared to wait. Key lime pie with 3 inches of merangue is a great finish. The menu is varied with many excellent seafood dishes but it is hard to get away from the yellowtail snapper. It is outdoor dining with a bar and usually quiet local music.
